Christopher Waltrip
Director of Information Technology
Christopher Waltrip is the Director of Information Technology at USDM Life Sciences, where he leads enterprise IT strategy, digital transformation, and technology operations to enable innovation, compliance, and efficiency across the life sciences industry. He oversees the planning, implementation, and evolution of USDM’s global IT ecosystem—including infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications—ensuring all systems are aligned with business outcomes and industry regulations.
With over a decade of experience at USDM, Christopher has played a pivotal role in the company’s digital transformation journey—from establishing a robust SaaS foundation to now guiding the organization into the AI-powered era. His leadership has modernized USDM’s enterprise systems through large-scale platform implementations such as Salesforce AI, Salesforce Communities (onboarding hundreds of clients), and Microsoft 365 Copilot, among others—building a compliant and scalable digital backbone.
Today, Christopher’s focus extends beyond operational excellence—he is driving USDM’s evolution from traditional SaaS ecosystems toward AI-augmented digital operations. He is passionate about harnessing the power of Salesforce AI, Gong, OpenAI, Anthropic, and other emerging AI platforms to transform business processes, elevate customer engagement, and unlock new levels of data-driven intelligence. His vision is to seamlessly integrate AI into enterprise workflows—enhancing decision-making, compliance-readiness, and speed-to-value across the organization.
Christopher is equally passionate about leadership and organizational alignment. As a WorkBoard-certified Enterprise OKR Leader, he champions outcome-driven execution, clarity, and accountability across teams. His leadership philosophy emphasizes empowering people through technology—ensuring that innovation serves the human element first and foremost.
He holds multiple Salesforce certifications, including Salesforce AI Specialist, Administrator, Advanced Administrator, and Platform Developer I, reflecting his deep technical expertise and commitment to continuous learning.
Prior to his current leadership role, Christopher served as Manager of IT, Digital Experience, and Strategic Planning, and earlier as an eLearning Developer—experiences that shaped his understanding of both system design and user adoption. His unique blend of technical acumen, user empathy, and strategic foresight continues to guide USDM’s transformation into a next-generation, AI-enabled enterprise.
Christopher earned a BA in Political Science from California State University, Chico, and currently resides in Las Vegas with his wife and two daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys biking, playing music, and exploring emerging technologies that shape the future of digital work.
